Potholes

Thump, thump,

Rattle, rattle,

Crash, crash,

Bang, bang,

There goes my muffler, oh dang,

Laying it is in the middle of the road,

Like, I am afraid, a dead toad…

Fill em’ with dirt,

It washes away next rain,

Fill em’ with tar?

Better chance you got to wish on a star…

Pave the whole road?

Yeah right, sure, maybe next year,

No money right now,

A rough ride this winter,

Does for us drivers bode,

Better to stay home in your abode…

Wise words, Ed. Potholes do keep you from falling asleep at the wheel though. Thanks my friend. Love and peace.

I know that awful sound when you are turning a corner and your muffler drops off and skids on ahead of you in the turn. Drat.

Ha Ha!! Ed. We have terrible roads here in New Mexico, too. Replacing struts is about as common as changing your oil..well not quite that bad but you get the picture.
Take care,
Sherry
