I like to think I do write with a humor...

Not looking for praise,
Wouldn't even, believe it or not, accept a raise,
Just putting on paper my thoughts,
Those that may or may not of you amaze...

Poem Artwork

That may just be by me a made up rumor,

It seems my sense of same came after a diagnosis of a tumor,

I write for the benefit of those less fortunate,

My humor is for those I would consider to be my heart and soul,

Those that are and forever will be this poetries consumer…

Not always does my humor show through,

Sometimes I do so to avoid being blue,

I only ask for you to read, being something I think I am due,

Surely with all there is to read, you can see my poetry is for you…

Of humor this poem was not meant to be,

This one is just so much a potpourri of debris,

My brain has been just of late a bit, towards writing, empty,

Thankfully though or not, things like that last only to a small degree…

Writing for >i/>moi and those less fortunate? You might be doing that as an aside, but you write because you must.
