First my back goes out but I remained less than gruff,

Now my tummy does ache & I got the Hershey squirts,

Sorry if it seems I am giving you some sob stuff…

Burpin’ & belchin’, poopin’ & stoopin’,

Now my permanent smile is almost droopin’,

Got to with my body get to regroupin’,

For I used up all my sick time,

As at work, up the ladder I do climb…

Going to bed early tonight,

To avoid the inevitable with time fight,

Want to get a few extra hours sleep,

Maybe then I won’t feel like I am walkin’ in it deep...

So prayers will help, though there are those more needin’,

Could it be inside I may be bleedin’,

No, I just think the pain pill I took yesterday,

Got me to speedin’ so now my tummy is just takin’ over,

Yep, my body is telling’ me to slow down, it is over me supersedin’…
