...seems this brush with sickness has not improved my poetry any...
Afraid to eat, Afraid to drink, Squeezing shut my seat, Afraid I will have to poop again, This time maybe in the sink…? Took double dosage, Must be my older age, All the world may be a stage, But getting sick puts me into a rage…! A cork I do need, To my crack I can it feed, Held out long as I can, So far it seems I did succeed, To stay far and away off the throne, yes as well the can…J © ed ~ 1/18/06
Afraid to eat,
