Oh, before I do as always forget,

I need to say I do need a life, you bet,

I work all day into the night,

I wear dark colors, nothing white…

I go the same places daily,

I awake in the morn with by my side a ukulele,

My sleep disturbed as is my waking life,

Thankfully for me I was not born an Israeli…

Boring may be my life,

Too often I seem to have much strife,

Bleeding out from within,

My life has happiness in spurts,

Though really I have very few actual hurts…

So how does one get a life,

Does he buy it at the store,

Pick one up through the mail,

Or go to the beach & question a sage snail…?

I would say "go to the beach & question a sage snail?"

But that is what life is all about...me thinks...to always wander and wonder WHAT NEXT!!

Take care Ed...and keep asking..lol!!

Actually, we grow up and realise that's the way it is sometimes. And then we take a closer look, decide it's not all that great to be all grown up, turn everything upside down and go grab our life and live it (it might turn us back into teenagers, but it's worth it).

Just be yourself
your life is what you make of it
so far you're doing pretty good
You write and people read what in your heart.
it could be worst,
you could be surrounded by alligators
and lots of bikinis

go to the beach & question a sage snail

That's what I did; and I'm much happier now. Snails are truly very sage, and they speak as slowly as they move, so they are very easy to understand.
