Gossiping...

Across the backyard fence,


Gossipers don’t take offense,


Some may seem more than others dense,


They speak of others sometimes in past tense…


 


Sometime not so nice are they,


But to keep it between themselves is the way,


Heaven forbid a trust is broken, yes betrayed,


This gossipers speak of anyone leaving them in disarray…


 


Their work cut out,


Of gossiping there is no drought,


Ranting on constantly as if to spout,


To those on the receiving end it makes them pout…
