For the shoe lover in everyone...

Poem Artwork

He did die with his boots on,

That he did, he did do that,

Buried with his wingtips,

His sneakers at his side,

He wore a thirteen double wide…

He will be remembered for his choice of the shoe,

Marco’s didn’t have a thing on him,

His collection was that of all brand new,

All buried with him at his request,

Nothing did he leave to others this time his bequest…

His legacy again that of the shoe,

Even did he have double pairs for the horse,

Can never have too many, they were kept even after the divorce,

Thousands of pairs he did have, his grave that of a golf course…

What more could one ask - then to die with their boots on. And I truly hope that when my day comes, my dogs haven't chewed them all to pieces - they love eating all of my footwear.
