Metamorphosis

Shedding my skin,

Hair in clumps falling out,

Teeth changing to fangs,

Of what do I change to or about,

Hard even now to comfortably sit and piss…J

Angry then crying,

Blue then happy,

Of late life full of sighing,

Hate I do acting so sappy…J

Who is that in the looking glass,

Thought I once had a bit of class,

Now all I see is any empty stranger,

Stay out of my way, you may be in danger,

Is that bloating from food or do I have gas…J

Is this of life the change,

Is that reflection of someone deranged,

Right now for myself & someone else I would gladly exchange,

Better yet for all concerned, let me just stick my head in the gas range…J

You will soon accept the fact that you're slowly transforming into the Jersey Devil, and you will soon enjoy roaming the Barrens in the moonlight. Hang in there, pal.

I have learned that now that changes ARE necessary as we go through every stop of our lives. Nothing stays the same forever. Good job with this write, Ed!

You are silly Ed bit on the money about life's little changes and the way we accept them. We all look in tht same mirror but you gave us a different side to what we see. Excellent Ed.
