Poem Artwork

The week over,

Home am I with my rover,

Sittin here gettin’ high,

You know I ain’t smokin’ clover…J

Let me get another hit,

Damn fine Hawaiian shit,

I won’t be gettin’ off this couch soon,

Oh for my Rene this night I would swoon…J (sigh)

Jumpin’ all over the radio dial,

From acid jazz to old school rap,

Boogie nights and 70’s music,

Beatles, Hendrix, and back again,

Guess you can call me a musicaholic,

Or maybe a nympho-tun-e-act…J

Buts when its 420 time,

I can really rhyme,

Speeling I cannot do,

Nor pernunceation,

But I am hot with that rhyme,

Don’t call or think me sublime…J
