The muse has again a vaca taken,

Without me it seems, I ain’t faken,

Ain’t it rude to leave without a good bye,

Hope it returns by the end of July…

Where do they go for a vacation,

Do ya think they go and study their vocation,

Could this loss be of my own creation,

If so then I guess it can be linked to an aberration,

Possibly as well it could just be a personal manifestation…

What oh what am I to do without my muse,

Perhaps a bomb I should with it replace,

Just gotta make sure I only use a long fuse,

Make it last till the time my muse does on the road,

Do an about face,

Am I just in reality a total and thorough nut case…?J

Adorable. But, just 'cause the muse don't yell into your ear, don't mean she ain't here. Just listen silly man, she even told you what to spell. Beter give some credit to your muse, before Rufuz over you she'll chose. Lovely ode to your muse,

Reading this, I would say your muse is alive and well. It is just you who confuse the lack of fresh inspiration as your muse on an extended vacation. You will be stricken with profound words soon, I am sure...oh wait, profound isn't your bag is it?...well then...you will find and deliver to us, humor in something that the rest of us pass over as ordinary, very soon.
Take care,
Sherry

First thing you need to do, is get off that island, and away from that evil queen, Captain Sprinkles. I hear she puts muse control ingredients in those cookies, too. RUN - OR FLOAT - OR SAIL ON OUT OF THERE -and yer muse shall return.

Not a nut case, Ed, just a damn good poet who makes poetry when the words aren't there. :) Well done, my friend...(((HUGS))) and love to my favorite New Jerseyites.

Karla.
