The Northern Hemisphere’s summer does wind down,

Time to start thinking of warm clothing & coats,

Making sure the car is ready for winter,

Putting away our summer toys,

Trailering home our boats…

Down under they look forward to more drought,

But the heat is welcomed after winters redoubt,

No one to blame, only Natures cycle,

Will have to await next spring for flora’s re-sprout…

Don’t get me wrong,

Warm weather and such is not yet dead,

Just a warning for those of you unprepared,

You still have time to show off that summer thong…
