I have him on a leash,

He does not listen well,

When he starts to get away too far,

I just tug, then he says mommy he will tell…

He is not losing weight, yet,

But to his readers don’t fret,

Every night through the winter,

We will be walking a few minutes more,

And by next summer he will look as good as me, well almost…J

We will go to the beach this Sunday,

There in the ocean we will play,

He will get all sorts of good exercise then,

Of his leash I will hold on tight,

That way he will not be able to go too far astray…J
