Not making fun of anyone just a different idea for a poem...

Poem Artwork

Surrounded by people on disability,

Paid once a month, the first,

Glad for now I have some work stability,

Leads me to felling for myself at least tranquility…

Bad backs come in many shapes in this city,

And I gotta tell ya it surely ain’t pretty,

But sometimes for the time to do nothing,

I would gladly give up my job to write more like this little ditty…

I could play more with Rufuz my pup,

See more of Rene my other half,

Less coffee I could be drinkin’ by the cup,

Just a lot less money I would have,

That is a big affirmative yes and yup…

I hope you make loads of money and can keep on jesting at the same time. Or even if you don't make money. Keep it up. J.M.

We ought to hang our heads in shame for how we treat the disabled in our community! All they want to do is to be able to contribute to society, but society makes it hard for them to try to break free from barriers that hold them back. I know; I am facing that now, looking for work. Please pray for me; I need to work. I want to work. And I have to work, so I can pay my bills! GRRR! Very frustrating; I hear ya loud and clear!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

If you want to change jobs, I do have an opening right now on our Thornwood Manor Haunted House Tour - The Jersey Devil would fit in quite nicely with our theme. We would station you out in the woods with our werewolf, Archibald. He's not so bad, once you get to know him.

The salary's not that great, but you will great free room and board -in the lavish outhouse guest suite.

You're right, Ed, a whole lot less money. Try living on 218.00 dollars a month. After rent, lucky if I have money for food.......tragic, how we take care of those less fortunate, who want to work, but can't find a job due to their disability...living the nightmare right now. :(

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
