In butter till they can no longer breathe,
Throughout each one the butter does seethe,
Not conducive to a low cholesterol count,
Still what a way to go, the end does surely & quickly mount…
Each kernel does do its best to become the best,
Long it does take from the stalk in its quest,
In its last several minutes under heat it does protest,
Then comes the ultimate taste test,
Damn near dripping with butter the popcorn passes
And does the palate impress…J
