Living IN a Lake...

No place here for the rain to run off...

Living IN a Lake…

We are living in a lake,

Don’t think I made a mistake,

After all the rain, we live in a houseboat,

No, no I am not being herein a flake…

No living next to a lake are we,

No living ON a lake either you see,

We are smack dab in the middle,

And it is getting deeper, with every cloud that does piddle…

No worries bout floating away,

I am the anchor, my weight increasing at each buffet,

Well I guess its better than cold and snow, so long it does lay,

As long as my hip boots in good condition stay,

Away I can walk from the stress & sway…J

And if any pink flamingoes float by, grab 'em!
