Two Dead Flamingo's...

Lying are they on the cold ground,
Dead are they, making no sound...

Poem Artwork

Perhaps it was the freezing cold,

Or maybe they were both just too old,

But dead they are,

Behind my home not away too far…

The poor guy that collects them,

Will be crying the “pinks”,

Don’t let them sit out too long or they will begin to stink,

Looks as if we have our Christmas dinner & its gonna be pink…

If you see any flamingo’s alive,

You must do your best and strive,

To send them to the collectors residence,

Hey, don’t ask me, I don’t think he does as well make any sense…

Oh, the poor things, but then again, a gazing reindeer would be better this time of year any way.

What a dastardly crime. The Flamingo felon has struck fear into all the feathered pinks whose beauty and hearts are tender.Let's find the culprits and feather dust'em to smethereens.

Hi Ed..Lying on the cold ground,
not making any sound,
how profound.
Was that a movement of a head,
maybe they are just frozen instead.
If you were nude and lying on the ground,
you probably wouldn't want anyone to know
and not say a word or make a sound,
until a friendly face came around.
Maybe they are waiting for that friendly face,
to pick them up and gently wrap them up and
put them back in their special storage place.
There they will be fine and remain sublime,
until it is again flamingo time.
Keep them coming, Ed..
