Purchased for me by my honey,
I love her more than a day that is sunny,
Or a bank full of my very own money...ed

 

For to keep my head warm,

In summer to keep off the mosquito swarm,

It works like an umbrella oh so well,

To no one for any price would I sell…

 

An accoutrement of the way I dress,

Seems to make others for some reason stress,

Sometimes others laugh and smile, sometimes they seem under duress,

For me its just fun to wear a hat, for me its just so serene…

 

I cannot wear it all the time,

Though for when I can its fine,

I love the oldness of it, like wine,

It matures and only gets better,

Its absolutely, positively for me divine…
