Twas’ a warm day here, Daddy left me a fan near, Plenty of cool fresh water, Then home he came, I was never really in fear… I took him out to relieve himself, Then home to make my dinner from the shelf, He let me stay outside in the cooling air, He thought, after today, I guess that only is fair… Dinner he did bring to me on the veranda, I’m not kidding, really no propaganda, Candlelight & very romantic, He did serve me, an unusual by him, antic, Favor I am not trying to here gain, Not trying to be am I, sycophantic…J © Rufuz * 03.27.2007

I took him out to relieve himself,

You are truly one good dog, Rufie Boy - introducing your Dad to the art of heeding the call of nature - outside. No wonder he served you dinner on the veranda. Maybe tomorrow, you can teach him to fetch!
