The campground ain’t full,


But there are some courageous souls,


Braving the cold snap in the weather,


I ain’t telling’ you no bull…


 


Twas’ at the freezing mark,


I feel for those in a tent,


They thought that firewood was heaven sent,


Not a time to run around naked stark…


 


Kids riding bikes,


Pets visiting alike,


Clouds and wind,


Enjoyed did they all,


Everyone seen grinned…J

I Know what you mean. I went to Tampa for Easter and had to take sweaters and jackets and spent Easter in socks for gosh sakes! I just love it when Mother Nature has a power play. She always wins!!

Are those Easter bunny eggs in the doggies mouth??

Not fun sitting on a frozen rock for hours, just for pure spite.

Wow ... you painted a vivid picture. And it's good that everyone was grinning too. Sometimes those unexpected cold snaps can really put a damper on things. Blessings to you and master Rufus

I hate being in a tent and getting hit with bad or freezing weather. Even with a good sleeping bag, I find that I get cold, so sometimes it is best just to build a fire and stay awake until the sunshine finally breaks through in the morning and then go to sleep. Grins back at ya, Ed.
