Poem Artwork

He sits majestically over looking his domain,

Snow is all gone for now, but his memories remain,

His daddy thinks he just a little insane,

But don’t tell him that was said, he is still king of his reign…J

He rolls around in the snow, now only the grass,

Never does he give up a chance, never lets it pass,

To roll around in the cooling shade of trees,

He likes to drag daddy down to play at his level, on his knees…J

When he sleeps he dreams,

Of play places & daddy’s laughing screams,

He chases his dad till he’s all worn out,

Not though ole snowy nose, just his dad, complaining of his gout…J

Ed,
Rufus reminds me of my sweet dog, Blackie. Blackie's alot smaller than Rufus, but the yard is HIS domain and no other dog can enter. Lol Thanks for sharing, and great pic!

Many blessings,
~Linda

As long as your dog is looking at you, you can't come more nearer to Paradise.
God put it there, as your guardian angel.

Yah, I bet he does a good job of leaving a trail of snow, mud and God knows what else when he's called to come in and that doesn't count the cute pooch either.

Thanks,
Dan
