What’s beyond being Stressed…

I had a day today that really sucked,

My truck ran like dung, bucked & bucked,

My tension level did raise my blood pressure,

To no one in particular I did finally scream,

Twas’ not maybe the best code of conduct…

But it helped, it made me feel much more calm,

Though I do not feel like I did have much aplomb,

I had reached my limit around five,

I felt I needed to slap someone, even myself, with an open palm…

What do you do when thoroughly stressed out you get,

Do you sit and talk to yourself and generally fret,

Do you take a pill, or seek the help of stroking your pet,

For me this day is one that I definitely want to forget…J

You are so fortunate that you have your pals (pets) to help you work your way through whatever hell you're experiencing. Think of the poor bloke that can not vent to anyone except himself. This was a very good write and I wish you

Peace,
Dan

Had those before, and I too have let out a scream or too, a good cry and sometimes just simply said a pray, and finally have done all three of these and took a nap, slept it off! We all have those days, maybe tomorrow will be better!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

Ed,

Glad it's over. Look forward to the new day. I concur: a walk is great therapy, and so is Rufuz, and so is writing. :)

We must be brothers; I had a Day from Hell yesterday myself. And I didn't calm down until my pets started fretting about my terrible mood, and finally calmed me down. Thank God for pets.
