Religion of the Weed...

Oh, father bush,

Give of your seed,

Allow your progeny to flourish,

Your death does all else nourish…

 

Some do reach towards the sky,

Fifteen feet from ground to top,

Someone will one day from this

weed learn to eternally fly…

 

For now though we do for it attend,

Treating it like a god right up to the end,

On my knees at its base I do pray,

Hoping for a wonderful bouquet,

And a very great amount at the final weigh…
