It ended quite quickly,

Making me feel quite sickly,

The police have no clues,

At this time, nor do I, leaving me feeling the blues…

Could she have naturally died,

Maybe after choking on some,

Kentucky chicken deep fried,

Or was it her heart, open & loving,

Somehow could she have died of a broken heart,

This seems right and totally justified…

Unable, so far, am I to find an answer,

Maybe ol’ doc Bonnie was a trooper,

And did not let on, that just maybe she had cancer,

Cause of which would be unknown,

For she did not smoke, nor drink, and not a drug did she take,

Not even her happy pills,

For most who did, became a quite gaudy grass- skirted dancer…
