High All the Time...

Poem Artwork

Some people think me,

High all the time,

Though it helps when I rhyme,

It actually really makes it harder to see…

A good time I can regularly find,

While toking on the herb,

And messing around with my mind,

Though I really hate finding myself,

Sitting in the street, with my back against the curb…

So rarely anymore do I get high,

Only when next day I can in sleep,

To be honest though, that stuff I smoke,

Sure as hell ain’t anymore cheap…

Well, inhaling or not is another tale.
But being high on life...Only when I sail.
But cheap it ain't, I know that well.
Stay well E.

I never learned how to inhale so... ...no buzz for me. Love and peace,

I did try it, once, even inhaled, still got no buzz...from then on, never saw the fuss.

I don't need any weed, Ed, just living my life. That's my high! :) But I admire you for trying to cut back; I'm proud of you! Keep it up!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours; may it be full of many blessings!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

I'm proud of you, Ed, for trying to cut back. (If I could do the same with ciggies, I'd be saving money, too. A lot of it.) Just don't get into trouble, okay? I care 'bout you -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Wish they would legalize it for medicinal purposes ... but Fee is right: get high off of life and love.

Although I can't say I never used a little weed and a lot of hash back in my younger days when I gave up smoking pretty well had to quit that too. Now I, like Rose get high off life and love.

I have spent all this time getting high on life and it was given to me Ed, I bet it is cheaper than what you use. Take care.
