Poem Artwork

At least it will my cholesterol lower,

Two bowls in the morning,

Then for the rest of the day I move slower,

If you’re still working don’t lose your job,

That would be from me my only to you warning…

I have heat, fortunately, as some do not,

Ruffie has enough dry dog food,

And I can live on what we both got,

I also think unemployment will start this week,

Therein at least I think I haven’t been screwed…

I REALLY am NOT complaining,

Nor am I starving or feigning,

I’ve made it this long & I’m out of the rain(ing),

But to be sure I am not doing much weight gaining…;-)

I wish you all the best in the New Year, remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My husband gets upset with me because my favorite meals are, cornflakes with coffee whitener, sugar twin with hot water for breakfast and beans & bologna for lunch and a cooked supper. Take care.

Newfie Hugs are on the way, Rose

We live on cabbage & noodles, balogna (or turkey), noodles, rice dishes, or cereal; not much, but it's something. Once a month we splurge, get what we need (basics: bread, milk, cereal, more noodles, turkey, rice dishes, yoghurt, cabbage and noodles, onions, sometimes keilbasa). Not much, but the healthy stuff is too expensive; that's why we eat what we does. At lesat we have food! We should be grateful (and we are!!). And our church helps out too, so it's not like we're starving to death!

Too many others don't even have what we do; we are indeed blessed!

Well done; you continue to be in my thoughts/prayers!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

At least it's not the generic brand from the Bulk Barn...nothing but the best from General Mills. Seriously hope you find good steady work in 2009 and get back on your feet.

Oh my friend, so many are in the same boat. Get out those oars my friend and keep on paddling...wish we had a motor. Love and hugs, Bonnie

Be glad for what you do have, Ed. I know: living on balogna and cabbage and noodles. Sometimes, for variety, Mac and Cheese. LOL Could be worse ... you could be fighting Rufuz for the Kibble. :) You continue to be in my prayers -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Know the feeling. Lived on Ramen Noodle Soup for 2 years.
Hang in there, it'll get better.
Love,
Becca~
