Just another COLD night…

Not as humorous as I wanted, but...

Poem Artwork

Darkest before the dawn it’s said,

Coldest before the warm, I say,

Another cold, cold night here,

Second time my water froze this year…

The electric tape apparently doesn’t work,

Though it’s colder than in what it’s supposed to,

The last night for at least another week or more,

For extremely cold temps to permeate my very being,

Allowing my frozen hose to flow less freezing…

Sun is rising, though it will be mid-day,

Before water I get to take that all important shower,

Never will I of course ever smell of the flower,

I guess somehow regards karma I am getting my back-pay…

You wanted snow. You got it. Now you want warmth. Never satisfied, are you?!? (JUST KIDDING) I hope you find sunshine to warm up your days (and pipes) - still would rather have the cold than the threat of severe weather (progged for next week, multiple day event) ... sigh. Never satisfied - that's me, too.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Stay safe, stay warm - know you're in my prayers!

Rev that electric blanket up real good, Ed, wrap yourself up, then you'll forget about cold! Or come to Texas; fifty four degrees as I write this!

Cold?? What's that?? LOL

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D

You should change that electric blanket with one pretty girls (or two) and you will be dancing nude on that snow, just to lower the temperature of your libido. :-) LOL LOL LOL

Never will I of course ever smell of the flower

Don't be so hard on yourself, Bro. Ma always said you smelled like one of her favorite wildflowers - skunkweed!

And try to stay warm.
