Is it Christmas with lights of green & red,

Is it New Years day with little pointed hats on the head,

Is it Thanksgiving with turkey & stuffing eaten in bed,

Is it the 4^th of July with fireworks blasting all are well fed…

Is it Presidents day, paying homage to the past,

Is it Easter, with bunnies & chocolate eggs,

Is it Veterans day, where we remember our military first, not last,

Is it Labor day, where we have a day off, & don’t remember why…

None of all the above, is it, this day is set aside for love & romance,

Taking our significant others out to dinner & a drink,

Maybe to the movies to see their version of life & love,

Then maybe just to see if he or she still can, both try the dance,

This is of course Valentines day & it is gone in of the eye a blink…
