The bunny of Easter did it lay, Another week full grown it will splay, Out of its egg it will of itself display, Just another wayward stray… Not necessarily perverse, Among us it will traverse, Its own millions it will disperse, From whence it came has nothing, To do with & about it, this verse… Will he be called the Eggman, Of the color purple so deep, Treated as something cheap, Will we of his kind ban, Or of this poem we as well can… © ed ? 4/19/09
