Poem Artwork

Running rampant,

Carried by the ant,

Usually a rant,

Sometimes a chant…

What else is new,

What else to read in lieu,

My nephew thought he had swine,

All it turned out to be, to get out of school, a whine…

The flu is the new news,

Many have on it views,

No more life have we to lose,

If this seems a rant, of me ‘scuse…

ED - PERFECT PICTURE FOR THE TIMES!

a paraphrase of a poem "Why Worry?" by Anonymous -

There are only 2 possibilities, you will get it, or you won't.
if you don't, there's nothing to worry about!

If you do, there are only 2 possibilities -
you will live, or you will die.
if you live, there's nothing to worry about!

If you die, there's only 2 possibilities -
you'll go to Heaven, or you'll go to Hell.
if you go to Heaven, there's nothing to worry about!

If you go to Hell, you'll be so busy -
shaking hands with friends that
you won't have time to worry!

re: SUIT - go to one of them thar SEX TOY stores -
and see if they have a really really BIG extra large size - XXXXXL -
CONDUM ... it'll be very apropos - trust me!

Ed,

I'm in your corner. Why stress? Laughter is much better as a defense.

You have no worries, Ed. Avoid crowded places and wash Rufus' paws regularly. Personally I think regular flu is more of a threat. Had a bout last winter that laid me flat for 3 days. Keep chillin'...

I found an old WWII vintage diver suit, the one with the forty pounds headset, and all rubbery from it down, very comfortable to get that swine flu! ! ! Although going to the john is a drag!

Several major districts have closed all their schools; events have been canceled; this is nothing to mess with. First death from the flu here in Texas ... scary, scary stuff. Just stay safe, hear?

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Hi Ed, I say rant away! It is Swine Flu revisited. Do you remember back in 1976? They tried to scare us with the Swine Flu... even made vaccinations for it. Many people died from the vaccinations, and that flu never came to be.... hmph... ya...

Bear

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
