Not sure how old I was in the picture, maybe 11...?

Poem Artwork

That was me,

When I was 10 years older than three,

I surfed up a storm on a ten foot board,

But found it more fun to body surf, never was I bored…

Anybody can ride a wave to the shore,

Though now my lithe little skinny body,

Went away with the years leaving me with a gut,

That doesn’t allow me now to body surf to the shore,

I run aground halfway in, showing off my also big butt…

But still the knowledge does of wave riding exist,

I try my damndest, to ride I do really persist,

My muscles are not as nimble, nor do I have much stamina,

But just one really nice ride each time I swim,

Is enough to make me happy & feel I am still to a degree trim…

You call "that" streamlined? wait until PeeWee sees the retouched picture of you, little "fatty boy", I for my part always admired your Charles Atlas figure, oops! you weren't born yet then!

Yea, holding onto youth and defying the aging process. Me too. Boy, would I like to do some of the things I once did when I was younger. Well, not everything :o) But then again, maybe do a few over.

I've never been slim and trim
If I think I have lost weight, I just have to look behind to find it
When a kid says your fat, I just tell them
" do you know how much it cost me to put that there? " LOL
Another great one
