I didn’t from you receive,

Not even a postcard or by your leave,

I’d like to taste a Loon, I do believe,

Not very brotherly if I do say so myself,

Your not sharing with your brothers,

Has always been, at least with me, a pet peeve…

Ma said don’t worry, this time he will,

Send us something that he did kill,

But I know you, even cooking what you catch,

Is something you don’t do, hope the skeeters made you scratch…

I also hope that Bobcat kept you awake,

Snarling all night for its own sake,

So what if you did not sleep, after swimming in the cold lake,

You don’t deserve even a nap, after no sharing with your brothers,

Even a taste of that delicious trout or carp or whatever is your druthers…

The Ed Family Fish Fry, was yesterday. I wondered why you and Edvard didn't show up. Mean Tall Woman sent the invitations herself, but she told me you would be a 'No Show.' She said you didn't even bother to RSVP.

Ma and Sister Tiger Lily and all of our mutts and cats had a wonderful time. Ma brought her famous Baked Beans, and Tiger Lily brought a case of some marvelous California wine - it went very well with the delicious northwood fish - walleye, to be exact.

Of course the PeeWee caught fish if he was fishing. He's the PeeWee. However, suppose he was with the governor of North Carolina in Argentina, not really fishing after all.................Jerry

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
