I had a Lobotomy for my birthday…

Along about early August sometime,

While still in the hospital with a stroke,

A lobotomy I was given to remove my brain,

It was likely replaced with half eaten horse grain...

(I think Rene donated some from her horse)

I know it was from a horse, as every so often,

I feel the urge to gallop and whinny,

And I seem to enjoy eating oats,

They help me to gain weight & no longer be skinny…

The hole in my head is stilling healing,

Though to the opposite sex with that hole,

I am not too overly appealing,

But there is this one little filly,

She brushes me with her tail and gives me,

All over this quite nice & hot feeling…

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. Your indomitable spirit is rising anew. Keep it up.

JOISEY HOSS - OH, HOW EWE DEW 'WHINNY'!

LABOTOMY? Didn't know there was much left inside there to REMOVE?

OR - could it be that the docs lied? Instead of removal, maybe they did an IMPLANT ?

Suppose they inserted a nice, warm, soft - "MEADOW MUFFIN" ???

That might could SPLAIN a lot .....

It's good to have you back Ed. I took an Ed from apt building here to casino tonight, and he fell when he got out of car. I don't know if I did good or not, he said he is ok. I tried to help someone today anyway. Just like you always help others, I do too.

Humor, yes, with a sweetness that softly lips and whinnies and comforts the soul, Ed. Made me smile, somehow, at the end, with wry hope and contentment.

Lobotomy? No one who's had one could come galloping back the way you have. You're just stubborn (won't say it, won't say it - yes I will *grins*) like an old nag ... who refuses to bow down to the One Who brought you back. =] Glad to see some of the old spit!fire is returning, Ed.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

... these are goooooood signs, EdBear... you're definitely on the mend: these vitals look good to me.. yup: humour... eating (together with a healthy dislike of hospital food)... physical and emotional sensations... and vivid imagination... AND an eye for the girls... just seems to me your eyesight needs a little testing... dig around in that hole a bit.. you might find your specs! :)) And keep on going once more round the ballpark racing that walker of yours... You'll be 2 to 1 odds-on favourite in no time! Love, kisses and a nice crunchy carrot, Kate xx

Ma gave PeeWee a Black & Decker Drill for his birthday! You sure the lobotomy was from the docs and not from him? he likes experimenting with mutts brains, (Tiger Lily told me so!)
Better get well pronto, we miss yah!

EDvard, yer Ole Brother

an eye for horses eh?
Something seriously wrong with that operation bubba.
Oats? Eat a lot! They're good for the cholesterol
and it forms nice unimpeded butt logs.
Good to read your humor once again.
