SO WHAT KIND OF VEGGIE DO YOU WANT TO LIVE AS...MAYBE THIS COULD BE A CHALLENGE...TRY IT...e

Poem Artwork

Maybe I’ll be a carrot,

Them I always did like,

Though to eat of myself I don’t relish,

Oh! Maybe then to be relish,

Aren’t they pickles, ate them as a tyke…

Red beets I never did enjoy,

Mother shoved them down when I was a boy,

Though spinach I loved, & still do eat,

Same as the iron I got from the red beet…

So many veggies & for that matter fruit,

I do not like nor would I want to be,

Perhaps that is why I am now in the boat I’m in,

Then again, I always did like potato’s,

Don’t they grow underground on a root…?

A vegetable I could possibly end up, but being a fruit is not in my nature :)

Every veggie has its use. I thought I had reviewed this but must have gotten lost in responding to your challenge. Check it out but I like Roger's idea better.

I love my veggies and my fresh fruit and I still have Diabetis, High Blood pressure and full of Austioaritis so where have I failed. I do worry about what my health would be like if I never ate properly Ed. You eat fruit and veggies and take good care of yourself.

Enjoy life as a vegetable (or fruit) - good for ya! Although know what you mean about potatoes - loaded with vitamins, but also starch, which breaks down to complex sugars, which you need to watch, being diabetic ... sigh. An excellent write - always partial to celery, myself. :)

(((HUGS))) love and continued prayer, Karla.
