I don’t much care about being politically correct,

As I would if I had one, have a tree all bedecked,

I usually tell people I talk to Merry Christmas,

And save the Happy New Year for the next week,

I don’t mean to anyone any disrespect,

I try to be to everyone as close as I can be to perfect…

But these folks that get quite altogether upset,

Have to understand that saying certain things is not a threat,

We all try NOT to make anyone angry though sometimes we forget,

Some people seem to get so worried that they break into a cold sweat…

So from me to you all, no matter your religion or beliefs,

I wish you a very Merry Christmas but don’t in a bind,

Allow your panties or maybe for guys it would be briefs,

Just understand that some of us just want to wish you well,

For I do not mean to any part of mankind to be in any way unkind...
