For me to defrost,
Get the ice & snow off my person,
And find those nuts that have climbed inside me,
They have been for a few days just kinda lost…
Maybe my voice will rise an octave,
And my digits may get gangrenous,
So I will suffer along till spring,
Then I will be most happy when summer arrives
Hell I may even about summer sing…
So prepare yourselves,
Buy some earplugs,
As I’ll be pullin’ music off the shelves,
And no to those of you who think I do drugs,
I only want to find my nuts & they are not of the variety, lugs…

You may be looking forward to summer, I'm dreading it. Wonderful poem about the woes of eastern and northern winters.
Mary
Deep under the frigid ground, and snow, and ice;
So you might as well resign yourself to not finding them,
But Ma says in a nice warm flannel dress, you'll look nice!
