Old Ode to Snow…

Took me brudders advice for a change...e

I took my brothers advice,

Went out in the snow & sat,

Made an indentation kinda fat,

So many paw prints out there,

Mostly from the local feral cat…

 

Now my but is numb,

It ain’t got no feelin’,

Can’t get my brain to work,

You don’t suppose from the cold its reelin’…

 

So when’s the next snowfall,

To ole’ Mom Nature I do call,

From which direction will the next storm over us stall,

Hopefully instead we get into the season first for baseball...…

I remember the weather back there. I think you still have to worry about March dropping a few more inches.

Baseball season..won't that be grand? Of course, I remember a few seasons where they played in the snow, and it was April!! Got a real kick out of your write.

But dear old Ma says: "Not our Jersey Devil Ed!"



But she's says very good for you, though,
