Ohhhh, turn off the light,

All on way too bright,

Allow me to sleep in till tonight,

Too deal with the world like I feel,

I am not today very genteel…

Must have been all that catnip,

The liquid variety, I only took a sip,

It came with the chips,

I vaguely remember a catnip trip…

The mouse was quite tasty,

I ate them most hastily,

The party over at dawn,

Now I hurt even when I yawn…

Ho, Ho, Ho!

My extremely devilish old Jersey Devil Ed brother,
He is high today on Catnip, and he’s slurping mice;
Of course, our dear old Ma will be quite upset again,
Since he had recently promised her, that he’d be nice.

I sure hope our dear Sister Tiger Lily doesn’t read this,
I still remember when he devoured her precious pet mouse;
“But Sis, I got a little high, and I had the Midnight Munchies!”
Things were never the same again, at the old Ed Family house.

I’m gonna bail you out, and send you ‘Catnip-Filled’ Play Mice,
All my felines really love to chew on these little plush toys;
And, I’m gonna tell Ma that you’re only eating ‘fake mice,’
She’ll probably say, “Good for him! Now, he’s a good boy!”

Ho, Ho, Ho!

I think I probably ate a mouse in my time. What "do" we do when we are so loaded we can't remember. Thank goodness we can't remember.

Here's one kitty who needs to stay home at night.
I was thinking it was about you, Ed, until the mouse part. You wouldn't eat mice, would you?
