Tokin’ to avoid a noisy dog…

There should be a category for "Being High"....

Poem Artwork

I keep the window open,

Tryin’ to keep the breeze,

Every 5 minutes the dog barks,

I love dogs, but this one I could kill.,

Or at least take out his voice box,

I gotta get high & crank the tunes,

Don’t care if they don’t like my music,

Let them stuff their dogs mouth with socks…

So to the tunes I do listen,

While getting’ high,

Damn but then the dog does glisten,

I want to see it fly away like a fairy,

No chance of that, at least not a nary…

So, what to do; complain?

This dog is driving me insane,

Yes, I know it’s a short trip,

But unless I get a buzz every now & then,

I cannot in anyway get a grip…!  J

I think the dog is upset about something. Maybe you could be his therapist. I'm just saying... Love and peace,

Usually it’s dear old Ma complaining to me about one of your poems, but this time, it’s one of my mutts who just woke me up insisting that I post this:

“As a canine, all of my senses are much more fine tuned and sensitive, than yours,
I gag whenever I smell those obnoxious fumes, and your loud music hurts my ears;
Since I cannot tell you my objections, I’m forced to loudly bark out my displeasure,
If you close your window, and put on some headsets, we can have peace around here.”

Signed,
Trucker

Wow, I guess he told you…

And I can't say I blame him, being forced to listen to Iron Butterfly all night would make me howl, too!
