I sent to Santa my Christmas list,
Could he for a change visit me,
And bring me a cute little doggie,
For the past several Christmas’s of me he’s missed…
I just want a pal, someone to talk to,
Someone to help me feel better when I’m feeling blue,
Someone to talk long walks with,
Someone to usher in the next year with so new…
If Santa does bring to me a little doggie,
I will never ask for anything again,
No more will I ask for cars or boats,
No more will I ask for new pants or coats,
No more will I ask for bill money,
And for all the year I will stay bright and sunny…J

Now, I don't want to get bossy, but remember Mr. Ed has admonished us not to get pets at Christmas time, so now just you mind that! But AFTER Christmas, if you still want a pup...let's ask Mr. Ed to find you just the right one. :)
