From a dream last night...

A little town in a valley, Between great mountains, Not changed since the distant past, A place to visit, but it cannot last… No cars past the fifties, No computer or cell phones, No new technology, The kids outside playing near their homes… Discipline from the past, No parent sues or is aghast, Life there is happy & clean, No one presents to another anything mean, Kinda like out of a dream…

I always loved playing out in the street with my 4 daughters, in the eveing after dishes were done. I'm still a child at heart and remember that old town, plus the town i was born in, visit often and your poetry is inspiring.

Life like that would be grand - Trustworthy neighbours, children respecting their elders, imaginations in full swing, cars - when they really were "cars", the list goes on ...Fantastic!
