I'm with you. It seems that as these companies upgrade software to make it “easier” for dummies to use, then make it more difficult to do some of the more elegant things we could do with the original software. I have Photoshop 2.5 and 7 for the Mac. The old one opens very quickly, can handle most jobs, and is very easy to use. The new one is very slow to open, has six hours of tutorial on video that goes by so fast you can't follow what the guy's doing, and no longer does some of the key functions I do with the old one, cutting and pasting to other applications.

Find a workaround or call your software providers and give them hell until they show you how to do it the way you did before. You have about thirty days before they cut you off.

I sympathise whole-heartedly. I have the same problem. I bought a new camera and I got the salesperson to set it to English (I bought it in France since I live there). Now, a month later, the blasted thing has reset itself to French and I can't get it to change back. Now when I want to take photos, I have to have a dictionary in my pocket. Bring back the lovely simple little instamatic type I had before.

Takes time to learn new things, you'll conquer it though. Took me all afternoon to learn how to download photos, agree it is frustrating. Hang in there, once you get it you get it!!
