...please don't tell Mr. Ed about this one as I want it to be a surprise/shock ?

Poem Artwork

He said he’d take me in as a stray,
Let me in his back yard stay,
He even had out there a throne,
Yes, I was pretty special; I will have one of my very own…

He says though it’s gonna be out there quite cold,
To get some blankets to keep warm,
He said it was the last place on his property he hadn’t sold,
It was almost like my own room in a dorm…

Oh, you ask who “HE” actually is,
He is me brother, Mr. Ed, the dog whisperer here,
All I have to do to live there is share with him my beer,
He says that I am to him really most dear,
With dogs he really is quite the best at it wiz...

The only problem you're going to have with that backyard throne is that all of those homeless homeys will be finding it to be their favorite waterhole. And, you are liable to find a bunch of drunk pooches after you get rid of all that beer you'll be drinking.

What a loving brother you have! A "turlit" ('sounds like Archie Bunker!) of your own! Yes, for heaven's sake, get some good beer for that nice guy!!!

Love ya!

And you tell people that I'm a lousy brother!

And you are in luck, Bro - Mean Tall Woman has found some old dog blankets for you. She says that all you have to do to earn your keep around here is empty that old turlit once a week (sadly, it doesn't flush.), and do all of the pooper scooping in the yard - our mutts, like you, poop a lot!

PS: Buy the good beer - not the cheap stuff!

PPS: That was dear old Ma's favorite old turlit - so don't break it!
