There lives a buzzard in the cold northern climes,
He’s gone through with snow some hard times,
In his Corona beer he takes green limes,
Past he is from his younger primes…
His love of coffee is well known,
Not well though is it ever grown,
McDonalds sells it, but don’t drink it, it will make you moan,
Better to eat in this case a rotten scone…
Based on what buzzards are able to eat, those gizzards must be some tough old bastards!
Just to get the facts straight, there are no buzzards in northern climes. Those are reserved for eagles, hawks, crows, other birds and carrion eaters like weasels and foxes.

You'd have a ball with the raccoon and squirrel carcasses on the roads around here............or at least you could fatten those buzzards up for a heartier meal!
I just warned Mr. Buzzard that it appears that the old Jersey Devil's insatiable hunger for Road Kill Gizzards has re-emerged. (Dear old Ma claims that this happens to you every year about this time.)
