Beyond assistance,
Mud stuck is its resistance,
No help from man or Nature,
Makes though a pretty portraiture…
To pull her off, they tried,
Guess they will have to wait till high tide,
Hopefully then she will be again sailed,
After, of course, she gets totally bailed…

2nd verse=2nd line reverse the phrase, saying " waiting to rise for
hopeful tide " 3rd line=wishing she again be sailed= same verse.

This one definitely speaks of being caught. I think it's high tide to start praying to God with all inclinations to put some water under it. Nicely written Ed.
All the fishermen I've ever met (and I lived for six months on Kodiak Island Alaska) love soaking their cells in john barleycorn. That poor peckerwood Captain needs to plead his case to the sand-crabs. If enough agree they can walk it back out for him. (-: r
Eh . . . Such a lovely 'lil boat to be beached. Sounds like the captain has gave up the ghost and gonna "whiskey" sleep until high tide. Eh . . . Can't say as I blame him.
She was quite capable of taking care of herself...She appreciated everything he was doing for her and the Grandmothers Four, but she needed his help, not for him to take over.
