We’re going to Cape May to see the lights,

As well to take in all the other sights,

Washington Mall is quite well lit,

Though it is expensive but only just a bit…

On Christmas day we are going to the shore,

To walk the beach awhile and enjoy friendship,

We may be able to, for a few minutes, get into a store,

Anything with gifts and such will be the biggest lure…

The drive home may be tiring,

But a coffee from WaWa will light up the night,

Christmas lights are surely inspiring.

This little holiday trip gives me something good to write.
