Boys to Men

This may seem humorous, but not to those of us in the older category, LOL!

      “BOYS TO MEN”

When young, we boys discover how we are

                                        hung!

Much to the dismay of our Mums!

Where did my baby boy go?

                         What’s left, cannot be him?!

We find, oh what fun we can have with

                                certain parts,

Cannot let mom find out, she wouldn’t

                                        understand!

not that I understand totally either,

                                                but…

Oh what fun we have, day and night, . every

                     available chance we take advantage,

Be the time wrong or right, we play with gusto,

                                sometimes all night!

When we are older & that ability seems to falter,

We cry the blues and wonder where it went,

Is it old age? The medications I am on? What?

Nature has this all in reverse, I believe!

It would seem when we’re young and don’t need

to feel better, this “fun” is not necessary!

But when we’re older & we need to feel better,

This “fun” should “come” without fetter…

                                                        (ed)

Ahhhhh, the lessons learned as age creeps in--bet most would like to retain what they know now and revert back to what they had then. b
