DAYS OFF”
Days off, what a bore,
Would have something to do if i were a whore,
But then i would have to charge money,
And make myself pretty, oh what a chore!
Even holidays are no fun to be off anymore,
One has to look for things to do,
And i find that to be a subject that is sore,
T.V., radio, computer, cleaning the car,
All have gotten done to the ‘enth degree & more,
What, oh what can i do to alleviate all these bore’s?
Oh yes, i can write poetry or so i am sure,
But then what to do with the rest of the “day off” torture?
