Insanity

Humor? Yes, to you maybe, but to me, well is insantity humorous? To some I assume it is, but...

     “INSANITY”

Insanity is the plea I offer,

As the offender in this place,

Does eating grass & poo-pooing in the woods make your case?

If so, then bring it on, those doctors of

       psychological mistreatment…

For then, I must be crazy to admit to sanity,

When all I see is what my eyes allow me,

And all I hear are antediluvian anteaters munching on that which I cannot see but only fear.

Clergymen & women, to be politically correct, all just stand up for their gods,

But never see those same dogs in this realm.

Was that a “Freudian” slip of the lip?

Or was it just a touch of the spicy sausages had for breakfast?

Food or is it fodder can create insanity,

Or is it mother or father creating same?

I really must admit, to all that read my spiel,

that you may be dealing with more than insanity here, maybe all the way to psychotic misconcepted zeal!

Further than that I cannot go, at this juncture,

Lest I may find myself ensconsed in rubber.

Making mountains out of Jell-O & cranberry sauce.

While someone takes my words to mean exactly what I say,

When in true reality, I only speak of insanity to prove,

To you all that I approve of being feebleminded!
