MINE, MINE, MY...

Always am I writing about something of mine,
And that is relatively fine,
As it is hard to write about something that is yours,
Twould make that poem kinda sore,

I just love to make little poems about all kinds of things,
But again, they must be something of mine,
For to write about something of yours,
I must know more about what I write,
It has to be in my site,
Even if it were to be on the end of a string,
like a kite.

I know nothing about a blight so I can't write there to excite,
Although with perfect hindsight, I find that
I write the best during the night,
So, before this poet gets anymore tight,
He will allow you a respite...
