“RASH?”

         My arms seem to develop a rash,

                    Every now and then,

       Doesn’t seem to depend on the time of year,

            But changes in weather affect it,

                       that’s clear.

      Neither anti-biotic nor anti-itch seem to work,

        But then again, sometimes they do the job,

              Doctor says its nerves related,

      Oh how I wish it were related to someone else,

           That would make me so elated.

      Seems only ice numbs away the itch,

      Else I would be scratching non-stop,

      I have some anti-itch swallow able meds,

      But they make me so tired and irritable.

  But then again what have I got to be less grumpy about,

  No one to talk to, except Rufuz & he knows when I am feeling this rout,

  So he stays away till the itch subsides, today seems like it will be with me till the end of time.

 Have tried so many topical lotions and over the counter treatments,

 That my medicine cabinet looks like the lotions isle at the store with many departments,

 Screw it, that does it, I am doubling up on my pills, and hope I don’t overdose,

 As I will end up sleeping the rest of the day or very close.

    For the most part I did what I need to do this day,

 Covering the a/c units for winter, while hoping the extreme cold stays away,

But come what may, the old camper is as ready as it will ever get,

 Now to ready the inhabitants living herein, henceforth…
